Melanie Dale’s expertise extends beyond just teaching dance steps
What is Bungee Swing Fitness? Bungee Swing Fitness is a motion-based, resistance training program that allows the needed buoyancy, provided by the bungee cord and harness attached at your hip, to perform exercises that you may not be able to do without assistance-no pain on the joints! We use a combination of fitness training and a full-body cardio workout that is high intensity all while you float weightlessly. Bungee fitness is great for all experience levels!.

Linda Lauture
Movement has always been a part of my life! My fitness journey began at a young age through recreational basketball, community softball, and track & field, where I competed in discus and shot put during both indoor and outdoor seasons. In college, I explored rugby, and after graduating, my love for adventure and movement continued to grow through dancing, rollerblading, hiking, swimming, biking trails. And trying new experiences like skiing and zip lining.
I naturally gravitated toward bungee fitness because it combines so many things I love—movement, music, energy, challenge, and FUN! As a Bungee Fitness Instructor, I love creating an exciting and welcoming environment where people can step outside their comfort zone, challenge themselves, and discover just how much their bodies are capable of.
For me, movement is life, and bungee fitness is one of the most exhilarating ways to experience it!
Adrianne Shack
A native of The Outer Banks of NC, Adrianne’s love of dancing began at age 5 training in ballet, tap, and jazz. Her passion for the performing arts led her to study at North Carolina School of the Arts during high school (class of 99) followed by Peace College, where she pursued Communications and Drama (class of 2004).
Adrianne spent the summer of 99 as a cast member of the outdoor Theater Production “The Lost Colony”.
After graduation, Adrianne spent time in New York City exploring various forms of performance art. Her love for dance and fitness continued into adulthood, where she became a certified group fitness and Zumba instructor, teaching at various gyms. She later expanded into children’s yoga and eventually taught Ballroom Dance for Melanie Dale at A Step to Gold Ballroom.
After some health setbacks and injuries, Adrianne took a break from dance and fitness to focus on her family. She is now a proud wife and mother to two beautiful girls who share her same enthusiasm for performing!
Adrianne’s most recent accomplishment includes becoming Reiki certified in February of 2026. She believes whole heartedly in the mind body connection and that optimal health and happiness comes from within. Bringing awareness to this field of study brings great joy and a new found fulfillment in her life!
Adrianne is thrilled to finally return to her passion. She is excited to share her love of teaching, movement, and bungee fitness as a tool to help her students gain confidence, have fun and continue on their Journey to overall heath!
